"Parked along side boats like the Taconite and Argonaut II, Patamar might be taken for a dinghy - which is precisely what her current owner believes may have been the basis for her design. 'Patamar is a Portuguese word meaning "foot massager,"' says co-owner Ken Meyer. 'It's also the term they used for harbor boats that transported crews and supplies out to larger ships anchored off at smaller ports.'"
